    I thought you must know
    that it’s my turn to go.
    I need to say that I care
    but I don’t want you to bear
    the thought of me gone.
    You did no wrong,
    but I just don’t belong.
    It’s not for attention,
    but I need to mention
    that I’m leaving this world
    as such a young girl
    and maybe it’s just me
    but it stings like a bee.
    Maybe now you’ll have a new perspective
    of who’s lost and unprotected
    so go out and find those in a bind
    and show them compassion
    and all that’s fantastic
    all at once the voices have spoken
    “Take your life, it’s just one notion.”
    Maybe one day
    I’ll be okay
    but for now I frown
    and just look down
    so take it all in
    as I left it all out
    because I love you with no doubt.
    Please don’t frown
    because it’s my world that’s upside down
    in all that you do
    know that I’m thinking of you
    I couldn’t have asked for a better friend
    to keep me calm
    when all went wrong.
